James Chung — Founder, CEO & Chief Partner, Crisis Management
Nearly 30 years in crisis communication. Founded Strategy Salad in 2009 as Korea’s first crisis management communication consultancy. Has advised more than 300 companies and organisations on issues and crises. Author of five books on corporate crisis management, including The Mouth of Corporation (2017).
DG Shin — Strategic Media Relations (POWERHOUSE)
Joined Doosan Group in 1990 and led the group’s external communication from 1994 to 2012 as an executive director of its PR department. Directed communication for Doosan’s acquisitions of Korea Heavy Industries and Daewoo Heavy Industries. Joined Strategy Salad in 2014 and launched POWERHOUSE in 2016. Advises owners and CEOs of Korean conglomerates and mid-tier groups.
Kate Park — Corporate Communication
Thirty years in corporate communication, including Communications Korea, Edelman Korea, and the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs. Joined Strategy Salad in 2014 and has since served more than 100 Korean and international companies. Named head of the Corporate Communication practice in 2024.
Alex Yoon — Issue Management
More than 25 years in corporate communication at LG Chem, Kooksoondang, Homeplus, and Lotte Group, including twelve years at Lotte, where he led communication for Lotte World Tower. Handled shareholder disputes, plant accidents, divestiture issues, and product safety controversies in-house. Brings particular depth in financial communication, advising on private equity transactions, investment matters, and M&A. Joined Strategy Salad in 2021 and named head of the Issue Management practice in 2024.
Anna Kang — Global Communication
Two decades at Chubb Life Insurance as head of communications and marketing, where she led stakeholder communication during Chubb Group’s acquisition of Cigna’s Asia-Pacific insurance business. Joined Strategy Salad in 2026, advising global companies operating in highly regulated environments.
